We left Salt Lake City about noon on Wednesday and headed east. We passed Park City on I-80 and then headed southeast on US 40.

Our Wednesday destination was Vernal. It is the home to the Utah Field House Of Natural History. It is also a gateway to the western entrance to Dinosaur National Monument.

The Dinosaur Garden with life-sizes replicas, is on the far side of the building. There are fossils, a fossil lab, minerals, and ethnic and habitat displays inside.
