Lunch and Dinner Saturday
Cousin Barb hosted lunch Saturday at Botticelli's, in the building that used to house the Normandy. Aunt Hallie hosted dinner that evening at the Green Gables.
The Normandy was one of the landmark restaurants in Sioux City. Dick remembers eating dinner there when he was growing up.
The Normandy is no more. Botticelli's is an Italian restaurant.
Thomas snapped this photo of the group at lunch.
Barb gave this monkey to Thomas - as you can see, he is delighted.
Aunt Hallie hosted dinner at the Green Gables, another Sioux City landmark. Both Julie and Barb worked here when they were in school.
The exterior is painted in trompe l'oeil.
