Sioux City Art Center - Exterior Views

The Sioux City Art Center building is just off I-29 at 225 Nebraska. The association was founded in 1938 and moved into its new facility in the mid-1990s.

The building was designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill of Chicago.

The complementary colors and textures of the green glass and orange brick are quite distinctive.

This view is from a little closer up.

I like the interplay of the straight and curved lines.

This is the view from the entrance.

Lucy consented to sit for this portrait.
