The town of Alexandria, Virginia

Sunday we ventured into the town of Alexandria, Virginia. It has an historic center, replete with sites and shops.

This townhouse includes authentic, working outside shutters which can be closed as required. Even the front door has shutters. The eagles along the rain gutter are a nice touch.
